Tall Kneeling Arm Extension

-Set cable arms  (Preferably Keiser) to high position.

-Assume a tall kneeling position facing the machine, but far enough away so your arms don't hit the machine on the way down.

-Grab the handles in a 'criss-cross' fashion.

-Bring arms to chest while bending elbows, then straighten arms when bringing cables towards hips.

-Return in same manner.

-Remain in tall kneeling position for entire set, do not lean forward at the hips at any time..

-Don' arch back when arms are at your hip level.
Competency Criteria


-Client remains in a tall kneeling posture throughout exercise.

-Chin remains in a chin tuck position.

-Lower back does not hyperextend when arms are at hip level (end of motion).

-Client initiates pulling from upper back muscles.

-Client does not roll shoulders forward when arms are at hip level.
