Standing Lift
(2 Arms—Straight Throughout)
-Advanced (70/30 weight shift)
(Dynamic/ARMS STRAIGHT)

-Face sideways to the cable machine.

-Grab the cable handle with the outside arm first then inside arm grasping the outside hand.

-70% of your weight should be on the leg closest to the cable machine at the start of the movement.

-KEEP ARMS STRAIGHT while expressing the weight away from the body (over ‘outside’ shoulder), shift your weight to the outside leg so 70% of your weight is on that leg.

If client has kyphosis (rounded upper back), and can’t extend upper back, this exercise may place undue stress on the shoulder joints.
