Squat to Row
(2 Leg Support)


- Position cable arms so they are at shoulder level.

-In a tall stance with cables pulled in at the bottom of your chest, squat down while your arms extend toward cable machine.

-Rise from the squat while simultaneously pulling arms back toward the bottom of your chest.
-Knees should not bow in or exceed past your toes.

-Heels remain on floor entire exercise.

TIPS:
-The squatting should begin at the hip (stick your butt out) rather than moving your knees forward.
-There should be very little ankle motion.

Competency Criteria

Client promotes straight back bending during the squat (no rounding of spine). Keeps chest high.

Client initiates squat by sticking butt out; shins remain relatively vertical.

Knees don’t bow in during entire exercise.
